WHO I AM

WHAT I OFFER

Hi. I'm Eduardo Rodríguez, a bilingual announcer and voiceover artist. I've spent some parts of my life living in Mexico and others in San Diego, California, and I'm currently residing in beautiful Guadalajara, Mexico.

Between 1998 and 2005, I worked at the Super Stereo and Canal 58 radio stations both as "voice" of the stations and as live announcer and host. Nowadays, I make a living doing commercial, narrative, corporate, or artistic voiceover work in English and Spanish, both native languages to me.

One of the many things for which I consider myself fortunate in life, is having studied with the remarkable dubbing actor and teacher of voice professionals Víctor Manuel Espinoza. Under his guidance, I completed two professional courses, the first in voice control and voice acting techniques (2005), and the second in the Cos Art method as applied to the voiceover line of work (2008).

Basically, what I offer is to bring copy to life. My primary objective is always to communicate as effectively as possible. In order to achieve optimal script interpretation, I bring together, on the one hand, content and purpose analysis, and, on the other, creative use of voice and expression techniques. I specialize in:

  • Radio and TV Commercials
  • Radio and TV Station Imaging and Promos
  • Corporate (Industrial) Narrations
  • Educational Narrations
  • Telephone On-Hold Systems
  • PA System Announcing (I'm the "voice" at 12 Mexican airports)
  • Children's Story Narrations
  • Dubbing
  • Audiobooks
